Hi There! My name is Kenny Ash, from San Jose, California. I’ve worked in multiple technical arenas such as Web Development, Training, Instructional Design, System Hardware, Software Support, Networking, Team Management/Project Management and SaaS / On-Prem product implementation and support.
Currently work wise, I very much enjoy web development, instructional course creation and design, and technical training. Lots of experience building websites from scratch (HTML/5, PHP, Angular, JavaScript, CSS) also using WordPress, and Drupal. Very much enjoy making custom UI widgets. LOVE spending my free time learning about technology like AI, Cyber Security, JavaScript Frameworks, Automation, Python and other technology related products at the moment – otherwise I’m generally focused on material related to where I work.
Currently, enjoying Jupyter Notebooks, creating graph, metrics and general reporting leveraging API’s. I work primarily in VS Studio Code doing development from Windows and Linux based platforms. Good mid level Linux skills comfortable in both the front and back-end. Base experience in Angular, NodeJS, VueJS, NextJS, and ReactJS.
I’ve worked in professional services for over 15+ years as a Solution Engineer, Web Developer, Media Streaming, SharePoint, WordPress, Drupal, API Specialist, and Project Management. Solid prior experience doing Technical Training, Instructional Design, API’s and Software Product Implementation. Love doing instructional course design and delivery, technical training, documentation, implementation.
In my free time, I enjoy building Raspberry Pi 2/3/4 (need to get a 5!) solutions like LAMP Servers, Web Scraping, Log Processing and API Capture. Love working with Network Monitoring, Video, Streaming and Media Server type Solutions.
I play pool at a Semi-Professional level, enjoy Martial Arts / UFC events, poker, hackey sack. Huge movie buff, love creating, editing, and general media, training and instructional creation using Storyline 2/3/360, Camtasia and Adobe Captivate & Premiere. When the weather is right I very much enjoy gardening, cooking and creating recipes. Passion for projects using recycled solutions over an array of products like planter boxes, wood projects, benches and creative feeding systems solutions.
